Getting started

Install JL Navigation

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing

    Search for "Branching History Tree" or use the link on this page once it's live, and click Add to Chrome.

  2. Browse normally

    The extension starts tracking each tab's navigation automatically — there's nothing to configure.

  3. Open the tree anytime

    Click the toolbar icon or press Ctrl+Shift+H to see your branching history and jump to any page in it.

Privacy

Everything stays on your device

JL Navigation records the pages you visit only to build your history tree — nothing is ever sent to a server. The extension makes no network requests of its own. Read the full privacy policy for details on exactly what's stored, where, and how to delete it.
